Ask yourself why would the powers that be not want the masses to be educated and involved? It would seem that an informed and active citizenry would only stand to enhance National stability. Through the empowerment of one’s self and one’s community equity can be attained. Active participation and exercising one’s rights can also lead to a democratic distribution and achievement of Life, Liberty and The Pursuit of Happiness (The American Dream)!
